Fantasy Boiz — 2026 Superflex Keeper Draft Recap

I fed Claude the entire league group chat and it called Salmaan a pick-swap merchant. Can't say it's wrong — he came in with the most equity and found additional ways to flip for more. In previous years he's flubbed edges like this but I think he came out with the best draft this year.

What's scary is Josh Jacobs in the 11th (pick 121, +82 vs ADP) is the biggest value in the draft. Sounds like he's only going to miss 4-6 games. Sal doesn't even need it, the duo of Gibbs & Chase Brown were going to be the best RB duo in the league already. No surprise Sal can't find a wife when he's outwardly supporting domestic violence like this. I hope the compromise on his morals is worth the fantasy title. A.

Love Jalen Hurts at the back half of the second. Trey McBride's a little sketchy — new OC in Arizona — but i see why he wanted him back after last season. Big surprise to see Mahomes in the 4th.

In previous years Sal's gone heavy WR and now he's punted the strategy after consecutive losing season. This year's receivers — DJ Moore, Alec Pierce, Christian Watson — all losers, but they're the WR1s of their own teams, so maybe there's upside there I'm not seeing. Analytics has his WR in last place by a large margin.

No surprise Eric decided to grow up now that he's got a one-and-a-half-year-old. Compared to the rest of the league, his median age of 29 across his roster is a full year older than the rest of the league. He still managed to squeeze in some young boys onto the roster. Bijan, Parker Washington, Luther Burden, Drake Maye, even Jonathan Brooks. All 24 and under, just outside my dating range.

Instead of going 100% all-in on young boys last previous years, he's adopted a nice mentorship model. AJ Brown, David Montgomery, Mike Evans, all stabilizers to the team that will be good shepherds for the next generation. I don't think Jacoby Brissett and Geno Smith were their #1 options to lead the Church of Eric's adolescent program though. That felt like a last resort where they had to take the decrepit old men off the street because they had nobody else.

As to the actual roster construction, they're thin at RB with only three. I don't even know if Brooks is playable off his 2nd torn ACL in 2 years. Montgomery's a sneaky good pick, though. He seems like a candidate repeat for the Joe Mixon career year from 2 seasons ago. Receiver room's loaded: Evans as the WR3, Parker Washington in the flex, and Luther Burden who every fantasy analyst is willing to get on their knees for. Juicy team.

Sorry Chan, your reign is over. Dykes are out, gays are in. Might need to see Chan get a matching tattoo with Coop to one up the matching hoop earrings from the gays. Until then the crown is firmly Belling and Jon's hands. Not sure if it's just honeymoon period Those late-night strategy calls are bound to turn into so many hot gay guy walks. Seems like Jon is allergic to taking Josh Allen. Still has not learned the lesson when he blew his best chance at winning a championship the year he took Mahomes over him. The Jeremiyah Love pick i was roasting fun of but don't think it's that bad. I'm just traumatized watching one generational talent behind a shitty offense get dragged down (see Ashton Jeanty last year). Kyren should be fine — every year they think it's the year he regresses the guy just gets 20 carries, 3 ypc, and falls into the end zone. Reliable foundational piece.

No idea what the fuck they were doing at QB. Daniel Jones at pick 70 (−38, the single biggest reach of the draft), 3 rounds too early on a guy coming off an ACL. They followed that up by hedging with Bryce Young too. This is the saddest QB room in the league right now, and it cost real capital between a 6th and an 8th.

They did well on the back end of the draft though — MarShawn Lloyd in the 11th is a major steal, probably only known about because Salmaan took Jacobs two picks earlier, but they still get credit. Chan says that was definitely a Belling pick, co-owner is already providing value. Draft looks so mid — Pittman and Tre Tucker as your WR3s — but the RB back-end saves it. B-.

Down a 7th this year. Really embarrassing going all-in when it was supposed to be my year and not even making the finals — very loser behavior. Getting Josh Allen at 4 is the lowest he's been drafted in the history of this league. I regret nerfing QB rushing TDs now 😂. JSN at pick 21 is honestly bad keeper value. Pretty questionable to go Brock Bowers at 3-4 when down equity and with a mid keeper. Did zero research, and just blindly listened to the draft guide I spent $25 on. Don't even really like the Jalen Waddle pick I made the next round. I was just way too pussy to take Luther Burden, even though he's way swaggier. A little too much vino, a few too many Asian beers, and a little over reliance on JJ Zachariason

Thought I was about to get fucked going zero RB but De'Andre Swift and Jadarian Price in the 5th / 6th isn't so bad. Especially now with the Charbs news, it's looking pretty decent.

7th round pick I gave Tsoa turned out to be Waddle's backup, so I don't feel that bad shipping it out after all. Hinging my QB2 on Malik Willis in the 8th is a big risk, but a necessary swing this year. Chris Godwin in the 9th is sneaky good; Draft would've been perfect if I'd hit MarShawn Lloyd instead of Kenny Gainwell — pretty upset about that one. Really should've taken more swings at RB but all things considered there's still a decent chance at continuing my playoff streak this year

Out of everyone, i was most worried that Kerry wouldn't show up to draft and my worries were justified. I just didn't expect Amato to start his season early and fill in. Their split is that Kerry drafts and Amato does everything else in-season, but maybe after last season's last place finish their operating model has changed. Anybody who's been in a group chat with the two of them can attest it takes about five minutes before you kick Kerry out and just handle business with Amato directly. Looks like this season Kerry's getting treated like Succession's Roman Roy being told to leave the board room as Daddy Amato has to clean up the mess from the year past

It's been a couple years since he drafted but I think Amato did pretty well. Receiver's strong starting with Ja'Marr Chase plus Davante Adams. Can't believe he went back to Marvin Harrison Jr; Claude says we hit the countable upper limit of slurs said about MHJ in my gc with Kerry & Amato. Late picks on Jordan Addison and Jalen Coker make for nice upside depth.

RB is pretty solid too — Ashton Jeanty (don't like him, supposed to be a dog) and Breece Hall, probably the last good running back in the upper tier before it drops off a cliff. Quinshon Judkins, maybe the worst keeper in the draft this year but atleast its at low draft equity (9th).

The way I know Amato is tapped in this year is that there's no way he'd take Tyler Shough that early in the 6th if he weren't on the fantasy pod all offseason. I'm not bought in on him but atleast he secured a decent backup in Cam Ward B / B+. Should be fine this year.

Still to be determined what value Kerry will bring to the team this year, but if there's one thing abundantly clear from this draft, Amato has brought the team back to its roots that won them a championship. They're tapping back into the culture and leading with the YN's. They have the youngest average age (25.7yrs) across the entire league.

Hate to give credit where it's due, but i miss Bhuh and i really don't like that he has no more team input these days. It was only inevitable that once he brought on a co-owner he was going to coast off into the sunset. Last season you could catch small traces of input BHuh was still contributing, but after finishing in 2nd place you know it was Jordan really running the show.

Tough to say if the Jordan era will be all the better. He didn't know what a keeper was or what he was doing with the March Madness award but those are small misgrievances relative to taking Justin Fields in the 3rd when he wasn't even a starting quarterback. Closest thing to an egregious mistake like that is going for Fannin in the 9th and grabbing Kelce two rounds later. Not even bad.

There's a major swag gap between team and owner. Jayden Daniels 2nd round, Drake London, Tetairoa McMillan, Jameson Williams in the 3-4-6, Rashid Shaheed in the 12th, Michael Wilson in the 9th. One of the most fun wideout rooms in the league.

He even had a pretty disciplined RB strategy. CMC in the first then some late round flyers as his RB2. Jaylen Warren in the 8th is solid (might get cucked by Rico Dowdle), RJ Harvey in the 10th good value. He could've used one more insurance back — nitpicking. There's one less incompetent owner in the league now and it's throwing the balance off. Next time someone drops out, autists are going straight to the front of the lineB+.

For last pick in draft order selection, 7th is a pretty nice spot for Hunter to land. Had his choice between Joey B and Lamar Jackson, but everyone knows #whiteisright. Don't worry he reminded everybody that he's ferda by grabbing Stroud Boy in the 7th. Stars really aligned for Hunter as he was able to get the Texan Stack with Nico Collins in the 3rd. After 2 years the Texans are finally back into the draft pool and they've come home to where they belong. Wouldn't it be so funny if the Texans reverted back to being a poverty franchise 😂

The rest of his WR room is one of the juiciest poised for a breakout this year. No more AJB to get in the way of DeVonta Smith, and Mike McDaniel to unlock Ladd as the primary WR for the chargers. Hard to see any of these WR's busting this year.

Quite the opposite at RB though. Derrick Henry in the second is nowhere near as sexy and Bhayshal Tuten is unproven Rico Dowdle and Blake Corum are both betas trying to prove they're the alpha in their offenses.

Was really surprised to hear Hunter broke up with his girlfriend earlier this year. If there's one thing i've learned about him through this league, he has an unwavering commitment to low-quality talent — Tyjae Spears gets drafted to his roster for a third straight year and this girl couldn't even make it 1.

Not sure how good this year will go for Hunter, but atleast he's surrounded himself with his boys. Straight B.

The Lebron of Fantasy — ironically or not, the most cringe name I've seen in league history. Did you lose another fantasy league that made you do this?

Coming into the season AB is going through a lot of transformation and uncertainty. He shed his co-owner, placed last on the who knows me best exam (despite living together for 4 years), and is preparing to get married midseason. If it wasn't evident by his lack of cohesive identity amongst his players it most certainly is visible by his average draft clock time of 55s a pick. He's damn near using the full clock every round. That's not out of precision and thoughtfulness, but rather insecurity.

As someone who grew up with a lovely family, it was really surprising to see no remorse from AB redrafting Crashee Rice on his team. I guess he must have broadened his policy on low IQ players because he used the 5th round pick he gained from the Jaxon Dart trade to get Skattebo, an actual crayon eater, and Makai Lemon to his team. He even took a flyer on Aaron 3rd Eye Open Rodgers too.

Though I think that makes a little more sense. After spending an abundant amount of picks on some YN's he had to get level set the team with a more familiar demographic in Sam Darnold & Sam Laporta.

All jokes aside, AB had some of the best draft equity leading in between picks + keeper and capitalized. Rashee, Zay, Garrett Wilson is a disgusting starting WR line up. Now that he's switched his fandom from the Eagles to Chargers he has to take Omarion Hampton in the second to see what new OC Mike McDaniel can do with him. With Bucky Irving in the 14th, his RB position is already locked down.

I think I clocked the reason for his 55s draft time correctly but diagnosed the root cause wrong. With all the extra draft value he had, AB was once again swimming in an abundance of privilege he didn't know what to do with it. Luckily he has a lot of experience with this and capitalized pretty well. Hopefully he doesn't blow his lead mid-season like years past A-.

As a fledgling ally of the LGBT community, the Dykes have always been a difficult one for me to understand. Kind of surprising since we share the same taste and they know me the best. They used their #1 pick rights to trade back and claw back some of the draft stock they punted away last year. The 5th from salmaan is basically a 4th at 5.01. I have to give credit, they're always pretty creative with the things they managed to do, I'm just not sure if it led to anything good.

Amon-Ra St. Brown in the 9th is who they were targeting, the last of the round-1 receivers but clearly a step below Puka/Ja'Marr. Achane also a top tier RB1 but very sus with a change in head coach and overall bad offense; Malik Nabers in round 3 off 2 ACL surgeries this summer, sketch. By name all looks good, but nothing I'm overly excited about

The middle rounds is where I'm sure the live draft went astray from their mocks. I think they felt pigeonholed after taking Nabers & ARSB because they used 2 of their 3 picks during the most exciting WR run on Trevor Lawrence at 4.4 and Tyler Warren at 5.9. Egbuka at 5.1 feels pretty nice but he's also injured. Then they reach up 20 picks early Kyler Murray at 6.4, mentally check out of the draft, and don't make another good pick until the Juwan Johnson in the 15th.

All that work to get to equal equity just to fumble it on show day. Maybe Matthew Golden 8.4, Mike Washington 11.9, or KC Concepion 12.4 make me change my mind about how they did in the back half of the draft but I think they came out with nothing in the last 8 rounds.

10th Round Javonte keeper really helps make this draft feel better but I think they're coming out of this just filled with regrets. Injured WR2 and WR3. Only 3 Rbs on the team and no 3rd QB. Feels like they're the thinnest team in the league. Mostly because they decided to pick up Tyler Warren in the 5th when Juwan Johnson in the 15th might even be better than him C+.

Ahmad said this was the year he was going to be checked out, but idk the synergy between him and Josh looked pretty good at live draft. The decision to go with the #10 pick was an interesting one, I don't know if Jonathan Taylor is who were targetting. He's probably the last player in the first round that I would still get excited about though. They're the only team that started the draft RB-RB and I feel like they're pretty stoked Saquon in the second. Quite the drift from last year's strategy where they NEEDED a top QB.

The mid round WR's were extra juicy this year and getting Chris Olave at 3.10, George Pickens keeper in the 4th feels great. The rest of the WR strategy I don't know about. Carnell Tate in the 8th (sketchy) and Xavier Worthy in the 10th makes me feel like they're little thin. Seeing their 7th pick they traded to Sal go to DK Metcalf doesn't even feel that bad.

Back to back picks forMatthew Stafford in the 5th (liked it) and Jared Goff in the 6th feels like an experiment for Ahmad to settle an internal debate. Historically he's been pro Goff and fuck Stafford, now is his opportunity to pit both former Rams QBs in a competition to earn his favor. Would've liked one more receiver and the 2nd QB punted a little later but I think they did a good job of building a solid roster while down a pick. Punting tight end with Isaiah Likely in the 14th was one of my favorite picks— an easy way to make up for less capital. B.

Give the reigning champ some leniency — dude drafted from mobile, crossing through immigration, and in an uber. The dedication is impressive, so any reaction to bad picks will be tempered. I'd be pretty miffed with James Cook as my 1st rounder, but getting Justin Jefferson and starting RB-WR is a nice strategy to leave the rest of draft open.

Caleb Williams 3.11 as a keeper isn't the best value but in our specific draft where he's certain to go early feels good. Kind of like the Dak pick but I think this is where he fucks the rest of his skill positions. I would feel a whole lot better if he had a different RB2 than Trey'Veon Henderson. Camp reports don't look great and he hasn't practiced in two weeks. Scary Terry is a solid pick but was quite surprised to see him go after BTJ, but then I remembered Choi LOVES WR's that do nothing. Must be the reason he went back for Deebo at 11.11

Tucker Kraft at 8 is his second dubious decision. Off an ACL, pretty high capital for a TE, and with a lot of options still on the board. Don't love it. Otherwise I think the late rounds Choi did a good job of getting useable pieces. I think JK Dobbins is pretty mid, but will be usable for half the season. Josh Downs at 10 has healthy upside. Even Woody Marks in the 12th feels like a steal.

Solid draft from an airport, no real mistakes, no big wins. Makes sense when Choi basically drafted by picking the name closest to the queue. He had the closest pick value to ADP (-8.7) B+.

After 4 years I'm desensitized to Irish retardation. I was getting ready for something retarded and I was pleasantly surprised to see nothing crazy out of line. Instead of a random flyer in the first, he used a first-round pick on a first-round-worthy player Ceedee Lamb, solid base. Justin Herbert in the 2nd to make him the 4th QB off the board, not egregious. First reach was Travis Etienne at pick 37 (−21), round-and-a-half early, but if you're a believer you're a believer. Even taking Tony Pollard a little early at 7.12 isn't that bad. At least he has history there with the JT trade years ago.

Matt feels unusually prepared this season. He ended up with 2 QB-WR stacks that feels oddly intentional? Reaching for Quentin Johnston in the 10th and getting Jayden Reed in the 9th, its like Irish really knew what he wanted. I'm proud of Irish this year. He took the 2nd-longest on the clock (48s median) and was really deliberate about what he was doing.

Usually when I see Irish take 2 TE's in a draft it's pretty retarded but this year was pretty smart. Kyle Pitts in the 12th (+55) one of the biggest values in the draft, went at 110, projected ~75. Would've been even better if he didn't burn capital on Dalton Kincaid in the 8th — but he's not a bad pick either.

Only real bad pick is Travis Hunter, who's already been dropped from the roster. Need to keep the glaze in check though. He has the single worst average AND median pick-distance off ADP in the league (21.1 / 17.6). Old dog can only so many new tricks. B Grade
